Routine cleaning and disinfecting are key to maintaining a safe environment for our faculty, students, and staff. Our newly created COVID Cleaning Team will do its best to cut down on the spread of infection through cleaning and disinfecting throughout the school day making sure to use gloves, masks, face shields, and EPA cleaning products
Our COVID Team will consist of janitors, staff, and trained students. All will be educated on how to clean, where to clean, when to clean, and what chemicals to use.
ROUTINE CLEANING & DISINFECTING The COVID Team will clean and disinfect frequent touched surfaces and objects as listed below throughout the day just to name a few:
- Face Shields
- Doorknobs and Handles
- Stair Handrails
- Classroom Tables/Desks and Chairs
- Light Switches
- Shared Toys / PE Equipment
- Shared Remote Controls
- Shared Telephones
- Shared Computer Keyboards and Mice
- Bathrooms
- Hand Sanitizing Dispensers
- Playground Equipment
- Glass Doors
- Pencil Sharpeners
The after-school janitor will clean the two buildings daily and will use an UVL Fogger to sanitize hard and soft surfaces in each classroom and common places.
